Google Nexus 6 to be made by LG?

LG G2

The Google Nexus 6 is said to be being prepped for launch later in the year. Following the success of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, it appears that Google has opted to work with the South Korean manufacturer again.
Details about the phone itself are sparse, but from the interview carried out by Gizmodo Germany, it appears that the Nexus 6 will be based on the LG G2.
However, don’t expect a high end device like the LG G2 with Nexus branding. It sounds like it may be a lightweight version of LG’s flagship smartphone.
Rumours have pointed to a quad HD display, a 64-bit processor and a 16-megapixel camera.
The 64-bit processor bit is interesting. Samsung recently said the reason it hadn’t gone with a 64-bit processor in the Galaxy S5 was because Android didn’t support it yet.
It would make sense for Google to launch 64-bit support – possibly in the next version of Android KitKat – on a Nexus smartphone.
Google’s Sundar Pichai was quoted in the interview as saying that the Nexus 6 would not arrive before the third quarter of 2014.
It’s entirely possible that the phone may be unveiled at Google I/O in late June, followed by a July launch
